Sea holly (Eryngium spp.) belongs to a large group of annual and perennial flowers found predominantly in coastal and dryland habitats throughout the world. Many of the varieties are valued for their striking architectural forms and their colored foliage. A little known treasure, sea hollies are considered ornamental plants in the world. Categorically, the genus is an ancient Greek name for a species of Eryngium. Sea hollies have simple, spiny-toothed leaves on stout stems from 0.6 to 1.8 meters tall, with clusters of teasel-like blossoms, and naturally bloom in July and August. All size measurements are done by hand, please allow for a difference of 1-3cm
